Are you frequently experiencing neck pain? Follow the tips below to get relief.

What is Neck Pain?

Neck pain is a common issue that many office workers face, which is characterized by a head-forward posture and curved upper back, with shoulders shrugging forward and elevated. This type of neck pain is a result of postural strain. It occurs when we sit for long periods in front of a computer, and it can lead to neck pain and even numbness and tingling down the arm. The neck muscles on the side of our neck become tight, pulling our head forward.

How Can You Treat Neck Pain?

There are simple and effective ways to fix this problem. The first step is to ensure that your office is set up ergonomically, with the right height for your desk, chair, and computer.

  • Ensure your elbows at a 90-degree angle.
  • Keep your feet flat on the floor and your screen at eye level.
  • Taking a break every 45 minutes is also important, although it can be challenging during busy periods.
